It is a black/light green, as shown here: Tachometers - ???Gary's Garagemahal. And the other end of the wire is here: Fuel Tank Selector & Gauges - ???Gary's Garagemahal.

Guess I will have to look and see if I can find that wire with in the harness I have and see where it junctions but I wonder how I can make it work on the distributor I am installing on the engine if at all, I would much rather the factory one than a aftermarket plus I hate to have wasted $30.00 on a cluster just for the tach and not be functioning.

My mistake - the wire you are looking for is the dark green/yellow wire. That is the tach signal from the ignition. The black/light green is a ground that tells the tach the engine is an 8 cylinder as without the ground the tach is in 6 cylinder mode.

But, all factory harnesses have the dark green/yellow wire.

Ordered more parts today:
Carb
2 gas tanks
1 sending unit
radiator
Fuel pump
air cleaner
9mm ford racing wires with holders. Already have the intake, distributor with coil, lokar throttle cable and lokar C6 kickdown cable. Gasket set for intake. Next week there won't be any reason for excuses to not have this thing running. I'll buy all the hoses, water pump, and small items locally. I tried to purchase most of these items locally but no one could even come close to the online pricing especially with free shipping.

The 1801, went ahead and bit the bullet. Summit also had a decent instant rebate on it that put it close to what the performer series would have been.

Gary, I had sent you an email but I'm not able to find a sending unit for the midship tank. Any vendors you might can think of cause I do not want to install the new tank with the open hole in it lol.

What truck are you looking for the parts for?

Gary put me onto 1A Auto : Aftermarket Auto Parts, Car Body Parts, Replacement & New Automobile and Truck Parts | Buy Discount Car & Auto Parts Online for the senders & tank straps
for my 81 F100.
That was after I asked if the 16 gal & 19 gal side tanks used the same senders - no they do not.

That part number came from a site after searching for the sending unit. I will attach the link. I did look for the numbers off your site and it got a little confusing so to answer your question....kinda.

That's why I don't look part #'s up for people. I put the tables out there and let them pick. You have to know the size of the tank, the wheelbase of the vehicle, engine size, EFI or carb, etc.

Where I got lost was the EFI, everything that was fitting for me was for non-efi like the E5TZ-9275-H, everything looks right except the non-efi

That one is the pump and sending unit, I guess if it comes down to it I can buy it and take the pump out of it but I would rather not do that.
