The FTE family spirit.
I think its' really nice to see several FTE meets popping up all over the place. Doc started it, with Truck Stock and wow like I said ,there are FTE members getting together more than ever, at least as far back as I go. Over the years Ive noticed that folks will be here making friends and enjoying building there truck but fade away when there project is done. Then there many more that stick around year after year helping others that are lucky enough to find this wonderful site with there new projects and the many questions that they may have. We are so lucky to have these guys that are so talented in there particular fields of expertise just getting pleasure from helping new comers ease into this great hobby. I tend to ramble but I hope you get the gest of what Im trying to say. The members we have on the site rite now seem to be getting that special comamarderey and coming together as unit, family, friends, or just a bunch of super nice guys, take your pick. One thing I do know for sure is that if it was not for the guys on this site I would have never, ever got anything done on my truck. Thank you guys. Lets keep ROCKING ON we are lucky people to have found each other.

Yes Jim a great bunch on here, but they are Enablers. I started with one truck then 2 then 3 and 4 Oh my, where does it stop? They are helpful and make me feel like one of the gang. I cant go a day without looking at the forum. All this from a man that dont drink, smoke or do drugs. They got me Addicted to the old ford trucks. Im pretty sure my wife is planing an intervention and if she gives me an ultimatum I'm really gonna miss her.

Jim, you're right.
I started with one truck, finished it, and because I learn so much here and enjoy reading about everyone else's projects - I bought another basketcase project.
Not one minute of sleep will be lost wondering if I can find parts, technical information, improvement ideas - and moral support as I restore the '49.
It's all here.
And I'd like to have a northern New England meet some day. Hopefully I'll have the 4:10's on the truck by then so I can drive a ways if necessary.
