Good morning everyone
This change in home ownership has brought a full 180 to most everything around here, got to turn down work as theres no time for building a garage this year, picked up a roof inspection and estimate for next door and have a drainage issue repair with future flat yarding for a parking pad with walkway for sometime in the next 6 weeks, my sched is full but the location is over the fence. May not have any choice but to come out of retirement. what I like most is everything on the books is within 3 blocks of my door. When the boom is on, customers dont mind spending the extra $30 an hour making someone elses equipment payment, but during a recession my rates stay the same and the customer base sure grows. During the boom everything I do is called "custom work", during the recession customers want the job done 100% correct and don't mind if I find extra things that need to be done. Sure hope this is a late fall.

Hardly ever get to drive anymore roller. My dd right now is a 75 f250 Camper special with a flat deck that has 12" walls. Black with white bandaid stripes, white gt stripes and the dent is done in white to, has wagon wheels and a 78 grill. Looks like an old cop truck, LOL, I restored it 2 winters ago and have only put on about 1200 miles since

My 78 dump truck was dark forest green when I first got it, Every time I went to pick up loam, gravel, sod and what ever or if I called in a load of concrete I got asked, Wheres Glen, the former owner who I worked for. Decided to do the black and white theme on it, then I kept getting asked to park it on the street as site managers and sales managers thought it was way to cool to park it in the alley by my jobsite.

When the 78 is done it will have some of the modern goodies. So far it has a 89 f350 dually cab n chassis frame for the sway bars and ball joint front suspension plus slightly shorter wheelbase. Grabbed a 88 f450 for the 460 as it was modified for heavier duty useage, a hydroboost, zf trans and the 10 bolt rear end with discs so that I can run a commercial tire in back. The 78 is being set up to pull a 5th wheel rv/toy hauler, still looking for a brownie box.
