stage 1 cam
So the truck has been a project and I'm looking to find a place to dyno it and the builds not done yet. But so far it's been very impressive. Truck mods are stage one cam and a dp chip the 16 position with bluetooth. 4 inch exhaust headstuds intake trans has 3 disk low stall red eagle clutches transgo shift kit and iv driven these trucks with all this except for the cam. This has waaay more bottom end the egts with stock turbo (upgrading the 38r and 238/80 t500 and water mathanol as I get money injectors are last on the list to get) but egts are crazzy good can't break 1300(while in 140hp agressive) no matter how hard I try and that was with about 1200 lbs of scrap in the bed. Shifts great with the tunes a Lil firm but I silky in 80tow. Also they say you can't over spool a stock turbo with stock sticks. I got it to 31lbs 28 regularly and I'm sure with an over boost anilator it won't be a problem. I trip over boost codes like it's nothing. The turbo spool up is almost instant with the cam. Can't say iv driven one of this with stock sticks and been happier

Gearhead I ordered it from kt performance. You have to run chrome moly push rods and 910 valve springs to do it I have mine shimmer to just a hair over 125lbs seat I'm worried about it starting in the winter tho I live in Michigan but IL get dual block heaters if I have to lol. Summer time starts fine tho I just know it drops the compression a bit

I by no means have tons of cash I'm in usmc reserves and work at oil change currently(19 yrs old did this all by myself my uncle is very proud of me) IL answer any questions about how much this stuff cost. It was 525 I think for the cam 250 core like almost 600 for arps and 280 for gasket kit. I paid to have the trans work done because it started to shift hard the shop blew my trans 3 times in a row and blew my motor the last time. Told me my warranty would be void if it wasn't fixed within 30 days. They somehow floated an intake valve broke the rocker and sent my push rod in the oil pan. It looks like a Christmas tree orniment now lol. So I built the motor dropped the trans. The issue this time was they over torqued the vb and broken the connector on the solenoid block so it comes out over pot holes once in a while. It fried the tc too. Replaced all that (****ed up my pump in the process) and now it's all set been drivi ng it finally the past week. Been down for 4 months
