smoking truck. suggestions?

my 1996 f350 with the 7.3 has been smoking. when i accelerate hard it pours white smoke like crazy. I'm not losing any oil and she runs well. Burning diesel like crazy. it smokes a little in idle too but not bad and once I'm on the interstate it almost stops. i think its an injector just peeing diesel but I'm not sure. i think I'm gonna just check them out just curious what y'all think.

White smoke is cold unburnt fuel or coolant. Does the smoke burn your eyes/throat or does it have a sweet smell to it ?

No definitely smells like raw diesel that's why I'm leaning toward injector

Just hold that thought, do you have any blow by? low compression can also make a truck smoke white and smell like raw fuel.

I pulled the oil cap off while running not really a lot of blow by nothing abnormal for this motor I don't think. And I'm not lacking a substantial amount of power either which happens with low compression right?

I'll do that a little later and let u know. Low compression is caused by bad piston rings right?

Blow by is usually rings with that test or cylinder worn.

Low compression can be above head gasket and valves not seating right.

So we're talking breaking down the whole motor or a new one if its not the injector
