Ed, for several years or many years I thought of going to that with or without my truck. It is like 2.5 hrs away (3 hrs by truck). I was really planning on going this year, but I think I will go to the Bellefonte Cruise and car show which is 30 minutes away.

Take some pics for us. Perhaps I'll take my 54 next year.

I just noticed... the Macungie show is run by the ATCA, the Antique Truck Club of America, headquartered in Boyertown, PA, not the ATHS, the American Truck Historical Society. No big deal, both are good organizations.

Abe, the show is a ATCA show not ATHS as I stated in my title. I am a member of ATCA and their magazine Double Clutch is well worth the membership fee of $36/year.
It takes me about 11/2 hours to go there. I have been going to the show for about 25 years now and just find it plain amazing the quality of the trucks.

What is the percentage of big rigs to pickups and other "light Duty" trucks? and how many fords are there normally?

I would say in the 48/60 Ford era you may see 30 to 40 trucks of all sizes.
Big rigs probably account for 350 or more vehicles but that includes many chain drive and hard rubber tire vehicles, many over 100 years old and beautifully restored.
Probably 150/200 non-big rigs of all makes and body styles.
I am surprised that your local chapter would be having a show the same day as the National meet, in fact it is not listed on the event calendar of ATCA

It is not a ATCA Show nor just a truck show. It is a car show of all makes and models. It is big but I've never been to it. The wife said something about her dropping me off while she goes shopping in State College. This might cost me plenty!
