Towing with the Older Fords....
#17
I had an 06 F250 (I know not the right forum for the year) But I don't tow often and I was helping the roommate move stuff from his Ex's house. Anyway, 24' car trailer that had a cummins engine, several motorcycles, a pallet stack with various boxes of fluid like antifreeze, ATF, and oil, and two fully loaded mac tool boxes and various pices of furniture. Made the F250 sag pretty good and me E rated tires were inflated for towing where even running low looking. Luckily I did not have far to go with it and of course I had trailer brakes to help with the braking.
I am currently working on my F150 getting gearing changed from the factory 3.08 so I can tow my 34'11" camper that dry weighs 6450.
