1996 Ford F-250 powerstroke diesel

Is this guy serious??? 3 thousand dollars for a totalled f250? I think it needs more than a cab... what do all of you think? Shouldn't this be like 500?

Are 7.3s worth their weight in gold! I only paid 3 grand for mine and it was driveable...

Out of curiosity, what should they be worth? I was thinking 500 or so?

 

8-1500 for a decent body

 

There's $1000 in parts on the motor and a box like that would sell for 500-750 all day in the rust belt... if a guy tired hard you could sell 2K in parts off it.

On edit, I ment the first post of the white truck.

The red one MIGHT have a good motor, the trans is prolly cracked, look at the bent frame....

I paid $1200 for my parts truck and drove it 45 minutes home with no problems....

 

Exactly! Those people on Craigslist are smoking dope.

 

Alot of people see the value of a pristine example and don't realize how rare and important "pristine" is. The logic is often: "If that truck is worth 12K without any mods, my wrecked/totaled truck with X Y and Z ill chosen mods must be worth at least a quarter of that!".

The only reason these truck are high is because people keep paying it
