wow thanks for the links. i think this will help me out. besides that its in good shape. i put all new front end steering and grabbed a steering box from a super clean, 89k mile 95 f150, made a huge difference. i need a steering stabilizer for the bigger tires, would like to convert to hydroboost(did it to my 91) and do the 4wd zf5 swap by winter.

when im driving around empty you can feel it spool and pulls me pretty well, no idea on the mileage but the turbo was pretty clean and didnt feel any real play in the shaft when i put the BHAF on.

never had a stock obs powerstroke before. drove a f450 hook lift truck that was turned up and had 3" downpipe. had a 99 f250 stock and a 97 f250 cali split shot stock engine but that 97 had a huge exhaust manifold leak and i ended up selling it asap after buying it. (back fees) so i cant compare.
