Drag link parts needed

Any one have a pair of drag link end caps laying around from a from a front end swap ? Need the two end caps that screw in w/ the slot in them . Am thinking about milling another slot perpendicular to the existing slot to tighten up the very slight play in the steering .Thanks , Denny

Just tighten it up another 1/2 turn, all you will do is compress the spring a little bit more. As long as you grease it, no damage.

Why not just drill and tap a set screw on the side. The smaller set screw will certainly solve your problem and be less fatiguing on the joint. Just my 2 cents.

If the steering play is in the drag link, check the ball on the steering arm and on the pitman arm for any wear, replace ball and drag link cups if showing any wear. Be very careful when assembling the drag link ends, the parts order is different in each end.
