Issue with pinning harness for MAF conversion
Hey all,
After an engine failure for my 302H.O. swap/MAF conversion, while waiting for the machinist I decided to clean up the main harness wiring. I didn't want to wrap and loom it all back until I knew I had it right. Despite throwing a rod, I have no reason to believe that the MAF sensor and injectors worked fine.
After I pulled the main connector from the ECU, I noticed that a couple wire either were pushed or fell back into the clip, maybe when I went to remove it.
Question is how can I assure the original and added wires stay in place when I plug back into the ECU? I used the OEM wires from a donor harness, and the issue is only on a couple. Anyone try silicone, hot glue or epoxy? I'm cautious of doing something like that only to work myself in a corner if in the future I need to make a change to the pinout.
Thank guys!

Yes they do! I'm not sure if I bent it taking the wire from the donor harness or not...but for the few that seem loose or dont want to stay I thing a dab of epoxy on the little barb or sleeve as they slide in aught to work. I'll respond with results in the upcoming weeks once I get the swap done.
I was thinking; as its a couple injector wires that I'm concerned with, an easy way to check would be to aim a heat sensor/gun at the header tubes and verify that they're all hot
