Anyone near Rochester Hills Michigan?

I have to go for training at the Fanuc facility in Rochester Hills tomorrow and Friday. I'm taking the ferry from Milkwaukee to Muskegan and then driving the rest of the way, I should be in Rochester Hills by about 8:00 tonight. I'm leaving the area on Friday Around 4:30 and heading back to Muskegan Friday night.

My classes end about 4:30 pm. Just wondering if any FTE member would be interested in meeting Thursday night to talk old Ford trucks for a few hours.

The Hi-Speed Ferry is a great way to get to Michigan without enjoying Chicago traffic.

Now wi-fi on the ferry! Took a snooze half way over. Other than that, yeah, a lot nicer than going through Chi or Gary. Sorry to those of you that live in the area but I consider it the arm pit of the country unfortunately there not much choice to get from SE Wisconsin to anywhere east. The ferry IMO isn't much of a savings in time or money but since my work is paying cost is no option for me.

I think the NASCAR boys are up that way this week. Should be quite a few people in town - maybe even a few FTE'rs. If you ever get down to Charlotte, we can meet and talk trucks. No ferry ride involved.

Rochester Hills is a pretty nice town....relatively speaking.

The last company that I worked for has an office in Troy. I used to work out there for about two weeks out of every month. On one of the weekends I took in a movie at a theater in Rochester Hills. That particular theater has a bar and restaurants along with assigned seats....you can get a cocktail or a frosty beverage & take it in to the movie with you! I haven't found anything like that our here!
