Duraspark 2 conversion

I'm currently running a 302 carb in my 86 F150 with a GM style Proform HEI distributor with the Ford gear. Well the truck doesn't like the HEI setup, after about 3-4K miles the inner shaft seizes up on the inner bushing. So i'm wanting to convert to the Duraspark setup due because I'm out of answers to why it doesn't like the HEI. I'm not using any type of Harness the original motor came with because I don't need it with the HEI setup. What exactly do I need to fully convert over to this setup??
Are there any visual diagram to how everything wires together? Thanks

You need a harness from another 302 or 351W that uses the DS-II system. Then it'll be plug and play. Or, supposedly Painless has a harness.

You could use a GM 4 pin module, like this...

Better Dirt Cheap Electronic Ignition

It would save you from buying the harness, the feedback I have gotten from others that have bought a harness is that they are a "one size fits all" and not really plug and play.

There's a real nice color coded DSII diagram at charter.net/1bad6t/duraspark
