2003 F150 Supercrew window run?
Can anyone guide me to where I can find replacement rear door window runs for this SuperCrew model? I have tried LMC truck, but they don't have the Supercrew version. I tried the local dealer and they said Ford didn't have them anymore, which is not a good sign
If anyone knows where I can find these, I would greatly appreciate the information. Just for clarification, the window run (as calls it) is the rubber piece that the rear door windows go up into and is a window rubber seal around the window when rolled up.

Somethings wrong. That does not sound right. Ford's highest quantity vehicle is the F-150. And the SuperCrew is very popular. And 2003 is not that old.
I suspect a problem. Either that is not the right name for the part you want, or the parts guy muffed adding the correct prefix or suffix onto the base display number, or if IS correct, the dealer parts dept. are being lazy. Try going in-person to the parts. dept mid-morning, avoiding a Monday. And have them look it up for you, they can spin the display around enough for you to see and verify it with the stylized line drawings the part system uses.
If they say they don't have it, ask if it's in the warehouse (this is a local warehouse). If not, then at your regional warehouse. If not there, then on the national level. Sometimes some parts guys just don't want to be bothered doing much work. All they have to do to order it for you is to put your name and phone # on the order screen, punch a few keys, you go and pay for it at the cashier. You leave with receipt and order paper in hand, and then they call you when it comes in.

Thanks for the reply...I think I am going to try the dealer down near my work this coming week. The parts guy I was dealing with tried to tell me it is probably because this particular model was only around for a couple of years. I am hopeful that you are correct and will post follow-up when I check the other dealership.

Update: Visited 2nd Ford Dealership and Parts guy advised the part is discontinued. Part #YL3Z-1625766-AA for passenger side and YL3Z-1625767-AA for driver side. He stated unless the parts pertain to emissions, they get discontinued after 10 years. Next step I guess will be to start searching internet so if anyone can help out or point me towards alternatives it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I hate to mention this, but... Just because it is discontinued does not mean that there isn't one or more Ford dealers somewhere in the country that have them sitting in their stock. Unless it has changed, the parts guy could run a search via their program to see if anyone had one. They may offer to get it shipped for you, if you pay the shipping, but may just as well give you the name and ph# of a dealer that does, and leave it up to you to call them and arrange how to get it to you, thereby taking the local parts guy out of the loop.
Sometimes parts people are nice enough that they will ask if you would like them to check, it only takes a few minutes more usually.
