DEVIANT 94200 EGR DELETE W/WASTEGATE
Could someone give any feedback as to whether the Deviant 94200 Egr delete with a wastegate will lessen the chances of blowing a headgasket on the 6.4
Ford engine . I am looking at doing an EGR delete and read that blocking it off raised the chances of it blowing.

I haven't heard anything about it increasing risk of blown head gaskets. The 6.4 has seemed to have fairly strong head gaskets. Of course they'll blow but they're supposedly stronger than previous model years. Especially if you run stock power. I've ran blocked off for the last two years with no issues. No towing done yet but a couple cross country trips with me driving like a jackass passing people and they seem fine. And no I don't normally drive like that but slow people irritate me hah.
As far as the deviant kit, I haven't heard anything about it. I just did a river city delete without wastegate and it's nice.

EGR wastegate
Thanks for the info .Maybe I am trying to be over protective . I won't be pulling much but a small camper and really don' t need any extra horsepower.

Spartan is a great option as well. I ran gearboxz tuners for 2 years. First the dpfr then the electron and now I own a mini maxx. They are good if you wanna get the emissions off cheap but you get what you pay for. I didn't like the way my truck ran with them. It didn't hurt the truck necessarily but they ran at high idle at all times and the electron made my truck lope at idle. I loved the mini maxx on my buddies 6.7 so I knew what I was getting when I bought it. I like its features and how my truck runs with it. But the gearboxz stuff works if that what you choose to do. The electron wasn't very accurate at monitoring though. I have the electron I'll sell you if you want it.
