I'm building my own one piece deflector. I started it but haven't finished mine yet. I'm building mine out of 10 gauge steel. I went heavier then the 12 gauge one that Mid Fifty sells. My truck is going to have a steel tilt front clip. So I wanted a solid base for it.

I was thinking of making my own but I have nothing to make a template with. Would you be able to tell me the height from where it sits on top of the frame to the top?

The parts are in storage. I can get you the measurements this weekend.
I think before you make one you should have the complete front sheet metal assembled so everything lines up, then disassemble everything but the air deflectors and radiator support to make you pattern. I would think you would loose a lot of adjust ability otherwise.

Here's what I measured.
From the bottom of my air deflectors to the top of the radiator mount, I got right around 20.5". And from the bottom of the radiator mount to top of it, I got around 24".
But I agree with what 56panelford said. Because there can be slight differences from truck to truck.
