trying to replce brake lines

'98 Limited AWD v8. I replaced driver side frt. But passenger front has me stumped. I bought a 2 piece ebay ss pre bent and can't fish it over. Has anyone done the passenger frt? The power steering pump might need to come off?

when I did our 96 I did not use the exact same routing. also used generic lines from Auto Zone. Modified the route to make it easier on myself. Not worth pulling the pump or motor for a brake line.

generic lines have the reverse flare on both ends... that does not match up to the under hood end, but does screw into the wheel end hoses........ I actually cut the factory lines a bout 6 inches below the ABS valve and spliced the new generic lines at that point. You can buy 6000 psi compression STEEL fittings at NAPA. From the back end I connected a couple 6 ft sections together and started stuffing it between the truck frame and gas tank till it came out by the drivers seat. I clamp or zip tie the line to the original line or convenient spot. UP front its easier to run under the motor and axle area instead of up thru the conjested area.
