Blown up computer or fuse

Ok I have a 1988 f-150 with a 4.9 I6 and I had a small exaust leak that was where the cat and the two tubes that go from the exaust manifolds and it was welded on and now I have no fuel pressure and the pump doesn't kick on and it's a brand new pump and I can no longer pull codes from the computer with a jumper wire on the check engine light or a test light

Does your check engine light come on when you turn the key to RUN without starting the engine?

The fuel pump doesn't come on at all when you turn they key on? Start checking your battery connections and grounds.

Start checking battery connections and grounds. I'd also try swapping around your relays and seeing if you can elicit any kind of change.

Do you hear the fuel pump relay click on when you turn the key on? You may need a helper to turn the key for you.
