Talking 1975 302 Turbo?

I have a 1975 302 in my '61 uni, and I am looking to crank out some power. I don't know much about turbo/supercharged engines. Would it be possible to just pull a set of turbos off a wrecked car and throw them on? What would i have to upgrade/replace. On a fairly tight budget

In a word, no.

There is no "...just pull a set of turbos off a wrecked car and throw them on...".

I'm going to assume you have no smog inspections to worry about. Your 302 comes from the time of low compression, low performance etc. With a limited budget--well, how much do you have to work with?

An Explorer or Mounty 302 would bolt right in it's place, accept a 4bbl manifold and either stock exhaust or headers, and give you as much as an additional 100 HP or more.

On any limited budget, forget turbo or supercharging.
