Howdy all, Dang nice ride there Jeff! I'm headed to the DMV in a few for plates for my Japanese Corvette. Have a 69 Fastback with 460, stick and a cage showing up this weekend for rust repair and paint, I'm anxious for this one. Sounds like Superman (Alan) finally had a rough enough moment to stop him for a few.

 

Rest in peace my friend. You will be sorely missed.

 

I think all of this camping and relaxation is his Kryptonite.

Thanks guys. It's still a bit of an emotional roller coaster - that little booger wormed his way further into my life than I ever realized. I decided that the prison was better off without me at the moment and took the rest of the week off to get my head together.

 

So Unk Bob as you drove down Hwy 13 (and right by my exit) you decided you did not want to see me huh? lol I get off work at 3:30 and am home by 3:37.

I am sure you had "road trip make good time" on your brain. On Fri the 1st or Sat the 2nd as you drive back up to KC, at least call me and see if I am home. Try both #'s.

Dave hang in there with the passing of a good friend, we all have felt your pain.

good morning missouri... still a bit early i guess i got to bed too early last night..

alan sounds good..i know you will be happy to get 'ole rip' out of your life.... i will try to get up there after i move jeffs truck.. i know i need to pick the old bucket of bolts up and get it out of your way..

not sure what today will bring. i hope to maybe get something useful done.... after a lot of work, i have the flat-bump working pretty good again, a bit of wiring and a few parts have the ignition system better than ever, now it runs great and the 4bbl kicks in a lot better, the new steering coupler (rag joint) made it steer really nice and now it also stops on a dime.. i had to adjust the brakes a little yesterday for some reason the self adjusters dont seem to 'self adjust' will have to look into that later.... but for now i am really starting to like this old ford f350..

 

Glad to hear the flat bump is getting lined out, what ever was the outcome of the 460 you got from me and put in that other truck?
