When you bought the truck you assumed it was stock, correct? And this OD light has done this since day 1, before your mods/tunes, correct? And it is an '01, dash is analog, correct? Am I making all the right assumptions?

Have you had a chance to try the known-factory calibration yet?

I have not. I've been incredibly busy and I'm going to away from home this weekend for the holiday. I'll try and swap it Sunday night if I can.

I installed the PCM cletus sent me(which did not fix the problem) and while re installing my original PCM a box dropped out from behind the dash.... . I new immediately that it wasn't right because it was zip tied up and in a strange place. I unplugged it and BAM!

The OD light started to do its job like normal. I'll post pictures of the box later. If anyone is interested I am willing to send them the box!

Someone needs to do a post-mortem on that gadget and report back to us. What was it plugged into?

Some of the wires go up like they're heading for the OD switch. The other part of the harness shoots up into the dash. That's all I can see for the moment.
