WANTED: 64-66 LONG BED 2WD BED ONLY

My build is coming along. Im starting my search now for a bed in very good condition considering I know how hard this will be.... Don't care about the tailgate or tail lights etc. Just looking for a SOLID bed. I will travel, I will make shipping arrangements for the right bed. Lemme know...thanks. I am in New Hampshire.

What's your budget? There are a few decent looking unrestored ones for sale here in Southern Idaho--it's dry here and no road salt when it does snow.

I assume you want a Styleside, not a Flareside bed.

If it's for your 1964 F250 4WD .. you want a 1957/60 F100/250 Styleside "wrong bed" that was also used on some 1961/66's.

It's called a "wrong bed" by enthusiasts...because the bed lines don't match the cab lines.

8' version: 1957/60 F100/250 / 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD

Note: 1957/66 F350 Styleside bed is 9' long.

Lower picture .. despite what the caption says, it was not used on 1966 F100 4WD

But not everyone pays close attention to the thread title, me...for one example inre to 2WD

But, the OP made no mention if he wanted a Styleside or Flareside bed.

Hi guys, Im looking for a style side, and not the "correct" bed. I want the body lines to match like they do on the 2 wheel drive long beds. I have one and cut 7.5 inches out of it and re-welded but its in rough shape. Now as the build gets closer and closer going back together, Im looking for one in very good condition. Thanks.

Help...

Sorry if this is a duplicate request, it appears it did not go through on my end the first time. Nonetheless, I have a very nice numbers matching 1964 wrongbed truck but not a fan of the wrongbed look. The previous owner added saddle tanks and a spray in bedliner to lightly used bed, so not worth all the work to strip it and metal work filler neck holes. I'd rather cut down a longer bed as done here. I love to discuss your build if you're willing to help. Ryan 417-872-6126.
