Are the 6.0l Diesel engines vin 8th digit P interchangeable between F350 or 250 with the E350 6.0l Diesel engines vin 8th digit P. what about their transmissions. I have surplus of 2006 thru 2009 E350 6.0l engines want to know if I can use them on 2005 thru 2007 F250 and F350.

 

Don't see anyone jumping in here so I'll bump and just add that the 6.0's only used the 5r110 tranny during those years if we're talking automatic's, so I'd think I would be an easy bolt up, regardless of an e or an f series.
Maybe someone else can shed some light.

 

You would get more 6.0 experts in the 6.0 forum here at FTE. I would suggest you post in there.

 

Oil filter setup is different on the E-Series, it goes out under the turbo to a frame rail mounted filter. Not sure if it's the entire oil filter base that needs changing or just the oil filter/ upper fuel filter housing.

I believe the oil pans are different also, but not 100% sure.
