A) Super Duties never got flex fuel from the factory. If yours has been altered, you will need to contact whoever did that to find out exactly what fuel is safe.
B) Under normal use you should never need fuel additives if you are using the correct fuel that your engine requires, which you are probably not based on you feeling the need to ask that question.

I've never found a need or reason to at fuel additives to any gas motor that has been running good clean fuel, the ethanol in itself is a good solvent and will clean or keep your system clean.

There is probably some college funded program that is trying to fit a cows rear with a tube and reservoir that stores it and can be transferred to a large transportation tank. I grew up on a farm and its absurd what the gubment forces upon farmers. It is difficult enough to make a living with out all the bureaucracy.
