Anyone had good or bad experience with the auto Lock electric windows?
I see various raps on the internet on them.

My friends at So-Cal Arizona no longer recommend the AutoLoc power windows. They recommend and sell these.

Their's is the power window I plan on using in my 48 F1 as soon as I figure out where to place the original bolt holes that the PO welded up.

From what I have heard AutoLoc is a cheap Chinese brand, if I remember correctly. I have their train horns and my second set is bad.

I have Electric Life power windows in my 53 F100. Been there for 15 years and never a problem. I have Nu-Relics in my 40 Ford and they have also been trouble free.

 

I just talked with Dusty Nu-relics and ordered a set for my 52.
He said many of his customers had tried to install the Ball's Rod & Custom setup and then called them.
Really sounds like a slam dunk deal and not very much since I already had the switches, etc. and I like the bolt in the original holes!!!

As far as I am concerned, anything that has the "Auto-Loc" brand on it is junk. The Hoffman Group is well-known for sub-standard products.
