cruise control

Hey folks, I've got a question about my cruise. It's a 2001 F-150, automatic trans, 5.4L. In the morning going to work, it works fine. Then on the way home it does not work at all. Heat related? Any ideas? Thx.

Likely is. Test the master cylinder pressure switch with an Ohm meter , plug off just as soon as you can before it cools.
If open, that's your problem.
The fluid expands some with heat and can open the switch contacts, especially if an after market switch is used in place of a Ford part..
Good luck.

Just a update guys, thanks bluegrass and sho89. Good call, tested when it was above 75 degrees and nothing. Changed sensor and is 90 degrees here and works fine. THANK YOU GUYS.
