I'd like some more closeups of the Unity spotlights. Every installation I've seen has them through the doors. This means they move when you open and close the door.

I'd like them through the pillars. Are yours through the pillars?

I'm trying to score some off of wrecked P71s.

Honestly, those are internet pics, I have never seen these rigs in the flesh... Sorry

I did find these on the interwebs, and it looks like they go through the window frame...

Huh, I thought they stopped attaching them to the doors and started putting them on the A pillars decades ago.

It was probably 30+ years ago the department I was with started mounting them on the pillars, putting a half-circle cut-out on the door frame where it meets the pillar just to eliminate that problem.

Thanks everyone, glad to find some other Coasties on here too! Draglink, I drive through Gloucester Point every day to get to work. Transmission is being installed this week and should be done by Thursday-ish. Then its rust chasing time! I promise I will get some pics up when I get it back!

Every single super duty (except for one) I've seen has them on the window frame around the door so that when you open the door, they move.

Every single P71 has them through the pillar with a small notch on the door.

Ah! Ok, must be the difference in the Vic's versus the SD's.
