How much different are the lower front (near bumper support)F1 repair panels from the F2 profile? Anyone tried this repair?

 

Are you sure these parts are not the same for both the F1 and F2? Midfifty might know?

 

I think the wheel opening profile is different

 

Axracer did a great how to build patch panels here. Hopefully someone will post a link.

I need fender patches for my F3. I also wondered about modifying one for an F1 but, was told it's too much work to be worth it. Find Ax's post and build one.

 

I have NOS lower patch panels for F2-6 trucks from a vendor that no longer makes them. They only make them for the F1s.

I have all 4 pieces for F2-F4 fenders, one lower has a dent and the upper on both have a small rot at the run board repairable if your in cali pm me for pic
