Enough of the over hype, anyone have a date yet?

Getting real old hearing the hype for 1.5 years, sell them already.

I hear it got bumped back again to Sept.

 

My dealer has no info on pricing or when they can take orders.

 

My dealer told me that he thought he would be able to order one in August.

 

My dealer pretty much said the same thing.

 

According to Donlen the order date for 2017 F150's is July 18. Hopefully this includes Raptors. Ford-Lincoln Trucks (Build Out Final Order Start Up Dates) - Donlen Corporation

 

Still trying to answer a few questions, amazed at how little the sales staffs know at dealerships. If any one has a SOLID REAL answer, I'd appreciate it. Trying to decide if I order a SD and get the raptor in a year or wait longer with no real indication of when the raptor will come out.


* Is it true that orders, will go in AFTER the dealerships allotments are built? Thus, a longer wait than normal for an order?
* Can an X plan be used on s 17 raptor? Or, will it be MSRP only? I have also heard Dealers can do a market value adjustment, is this true? Can they do that on an order too?
* I have heard that dealers can only order a certain allotment per month, like 5-8 trucks. Thus, if they have 25 names to order for, I may not even get mine ordered for months after the initial release month? Is this true?


Thanks, appreciate the real true answers if they exist. My interest is seriously fading on this truck. Only soo much hype I can take.
