Just wondering if this is a good vin# for a 1977 f800 ford truck n80fvy48242 also the trans code is an. H. Would like motor size. Thank you

It's not an F800.
N80 = LN800 (gas).
F = 391 4V FT engine.
V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.
Y48242 = 1977.
H = Transmatic (Allison) MT-650 6 Speed Automatic.

It's not an F800, it's an LN800. Two completely different trucks.
Pic from 1980/89 catalog, as 1973/79 catalog shows a pic of the LN, but does not identify it as such.
