I just installed the upfitter switches in my 2011 F350 to run rear led's. Is there a way to hookup one of the upfitter switches to the backup camera so I can turn it on while driving down the road? I have the stock stereo/nav/backup camera system.

We're there's a will there's a way. It might be easier to get a canopener or a lock pick instead.

 

Since the backup camera is energized with the rear backup light wiring harness, just energize it with the 7 pin power source and add an "open" with the up fitter switch. Depending on where exactly the power source originates will determined how long of a couple of wires will have to run from the up fitters.
Very doable.

I have one of the modules(The name escapes me. Like the Lockpick). I can double tap the phone button on my steering wheel, from there, and through a few selections that pop up on the receiver screen, I can enter the nav adresses at will, without being stopped. I can watch dvd's while driving. I can turn on the rear camera while driving forward.

Stupidly simple to hook up. Plug and play.
