460 chassis headers??????

I have a 1976 F250 4X4 with a 460 and for speed. Right now I have chassis exit headers. The headers come over the frame and straight out I am looking for headers like what I have but ceramic coated can anyone find them? I've been working at stands and L and AL. Right now I have chassis exit headers. The headers come over the frame and straight out I am looking for headers like what I have but ceramic coated can anyone find them? I've been working at stans and L &l. L&lhas them but they say ceramic coated and say it
can't be done at this time

I think that is correct. You'll need to source a set, test fit them, then send them out for coating. L&L's source for coating dried up about two years ago and it sounds like they haven't got anyone else. My suggestion is to check with any hot rod shops in your area for a recommendation or possibly some industrial coating places although many of the bigger ones don't really care dealing with small one time customers. Get someone locally otherwise you'll have the additional expense of shipping, possible damage in transit and then if you are not happy, even harder to get resolved.

I say to test fit them first because I will almost be certain even the best brands might require a little adjustment or dimpling for clearance and you don't want to be beating on your newly coated headers right?

I got mine from Mad Dog and had to get them coated locally.

Good luck.

Source a local business. Ask around the parts stores, hot rod shops, machine shops that are motor specific. Custom car shops, car clubs.
