Seat Belts

I have a 95 F-150 and the seat belt loops are rusting a little and pitted. My question is, has anyone come up with an easy fix for this or something to cover them up. I tried painting them black. This got rid of the rust problem, but now the belts won't slide on the loop. So, I haven't even been using them. I'm looking for something to use to cover them. Maybe something like wire loom with out the ribs. Does any one know a way to do this??

Thanks
