need any and all tips to remove a STUCK factory head unit in my 04!

i've taken out and install more radios, especially in ford trucks than i can remember. i've used hangers to remove them, as well as the actual tools made to remove the stock head units in our trucks. i cannot get the radio out. and i can't remove the bezel without getting that out, and i'm trying everything to not break/cut the bezel. the radio is STUCK. the clips won't release. seems like 1 side i can get it sorta loose, but the other won't release. i've already pried off the face plate of the radio. i have a new radio so i don't care about breaking the stock one, just trying not to damage the bezel like i said. any and all pointers will be appreciated. the next step i'm thinking is using this sort of tool and trying to cut the metal clips. but i wish i could somehow get the clip to just release...now since i started this, i have NO music, and my brand new android double din head unit is staring me in the face saying "install me, install me!" lol.

i have this and a few different sized flat blades like in the picture. only saw i can think that can be used without damaging stuff behind it.

thanks guys!

only pic i have, posted it just because i had it on my phone, don't really need a pic though. it's basically the entire unit except the front plastic face plate with the buttons that is stuck.

only other thing i can think is to take it to the dealer, pay the $250 deductible for my extended warranty, and make them replace it and if they break the bezel they will put a new one. i won't pay $250 JUST for this issue though. i'm having an A/C issue (posted in another thread) and if it turns out to need parts/labor more than $250, ill take it in for that and the radio issue.

Pop off the bezel and you should be able to reach behind it to push it out. The bezel just pops off, grip it and pull straight back toward you.

Not sure if the bezel is the same as the 2000-2003, but in that year range there are no screws holding that thing on.
