REMINDER the Nor-Cal FTE West Coast Truckstock for 2016 is cumming up on June 4, 2016, in Lincoln CA .

We will meet at Pizza Round-Up at 2270 Nicolas Road, Lincoln Ca.at 11:30 A.M.
We will be two miles from downtown Lincoln, which will be
in the midst of their annual car show from 9:30AM to 3:30PM.

So, June 4, 2016, 11:30 AM, Nor-Cal FTE West Coast Truckstock, at Pizza Round-Up, 2270 Nicolas Road, Lincoln CA.

Take I80 (from the north or south) to HWY65 - north to Lincoln. Take the Ferrari Ranch Road turn off - turn right on Ferrari Ranch Rd. - go about a mile and turn left on to Joiner Parkway. About two miles you will come to Nicolas Rd. -Turn left on Nicolas Rd. Then at about a mile you will see Pizza Round-Up on the right.

There will be plenty of room to park your trucks.

Anyone wisshing to come early or stay overnite, Thunder Valley (just south of Lincoln) has a large hotel and Friday evening there will be a small car show from 4-9 PM.

There are many affordable hotells in the Rosevile, Rocklin, and Linoln area

 

Well the 2016 Nor-Cal West Coast FTE Truckstock is coming up fast. It's next Saturday.

I hope we get a good turn out, otherwise I will be sitting there enjoying pizza by myself.

Dan, regardless of how many show up I am sure that a good time will be had by all. I wish that I could be there in person, but I will be there in spirit.

It should be great, two days of fun and sun with trucks, cars, the chance to meet other members, its like a mini vacation for sure. My wife even said that I could drive her there while she comes out of anesthesia, because she knows how much I was looking forward to going. Obviously I wont due that, even if the surgery center would release her B4 she was awake (which they wont). But I'm counting on you guys to rock on and have an awesome FTE time. Dan, you have nailed putting this thing together, thank you.

I plan on being there, but with triple digit temperatures forecast I think my truck will stay in the Bay Area! My Dad might bring his '53 Ch$&y 3600 to the other shows that day.

 

The weather is going to be hot (100 degrees) in the late afternoon. If your truck stays home, that's OK.

We'll be cool and inside.

I'm just going to suck it up and drive the '64 through the heat. I'll leave early so at least half the drive will be semi-cool! Stay on the lookout for a light blue '64 F-100 long bed with some rusty "patina" here and there. Looking forward to meeting whoever shows up!

 

Jim be sure to let us all know how the surgery goes. Our prayers are with you both. There will be more TS's to attend and you are taking care of what's important.

 

Well guys, I had every intention of being there (without the truck as I do not have it back together yet) but I received a call that I have to respond to a lake in the western part of Placer County. I am part of a dive team at work and have to go attempt a 110' dive recovery tomorrow. Those of you who live local will be familiar with the incident in question as it occurred last weekend.

So think about me as you sit in the air conditioning drinking cold beer and bench racing. I will definitely be wishing I was there with you as I am sweating my tail off in dive gear waiting to get into the water.

Jimmy, good luck to you and wife tomorrow. Sorry you can't make it either but there will be another time.
