Throttle body stuck in limp mode. Got a F250 transfer case was torn in half, battery dead, fuel line cut & wires to t-case cut, drive shaft dented & carrier bearing chewed. I think the bearing gave out and t-case was halved, churned cut the wires & fuel line, this before I got the truck which sat over 1 year. Replaced the fuel filter and gas line, fixed harness, replaced the t- case and drive shaft. Problem: the engine purrs nice in limp mode the t-body won't come out of limp mode. Had to have the emergency shut off reset before it would run. Now all it will do is idle in limp mode despite clearing the codes multiple times. I can't believe the throttle body would need replacing given the truck had to have shut down immediately or soon after the t-case snapped because the fuel line was severed. I haven't yet replaced/cleaned the throttle body. Again I reset codes many times but keep getting the same throttle codes, any thoughts besides cleaning/replacing throttle body? thanks!
