I posted this on Craigslist locally, and afterwards thought I should throw it up here as well just in case.

From Craigslist ad (http://easternshore.craigslist.org/c...9939591.html):

=======================================
It is with a heavy heart that I type this up...but the time has come I think

I'm listing for sale my 1997 Ford F350, 7.3 Powerstroke, Crew Cab, Long Bed, 4x4, 5 Speed Manual, SRW pickup with 4:10 gears...aka "Big Red".

The truck has 171K and comes with the following:

Banks exhaust brake: Works great going down hills with a load...sounds great. When enabled, it kicks in when you lift off the gas
Pyro, Boost, Exhaust Backpressure gauges on pillar.
Superchips tuner.
Warn manual locking front hubs.
Donaldson B085011 Air Filter
Trailer Brake controller.
Superduty aluminum rear diff cover.
Cap: Red, matches the new bed color.
Spare Bed: Matches the cab color. Has rusted fenders and rear corners.
NEW Spare aftermarket replacement tailgate: Steel primed no hardware.
Spare Rear End: 4:10 gears, blasted and painted with all new seals/bearings, all new brakes (drums, shoes, parts kit, hard-lines, parking brake cables, tensioner, abs sensor etc) and new aluminum super duty diff cover with stainless hex head bolts.
NEW Spare rear 38Gal Spectra Fuel Tank: This is an expanded capacity fuel tank that replaces the stock rear tank to expand capacity.
5x (4 and 1 spare) 255 85R16 Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx tires with ~5K Miles on them running on steelie blasted rims painted matte black.
1x 16.5x12 Rim (steel 8 lug) with a BFG 35" tire
Printed hard-copies of the official Factory Service Manuals in 3 ring binders with custom covers (the actual 3 piece service manuals for Engine, Body/Drivetrain, Electrical/Vacuum Troubleshooting).
Various documentation, manuals etc.

The Good:
It starts right up, runs well, and pulls hard.
I have done fuel filters, oil changes regularly and have done rear end fluid change, new belts/tensioner/alternator when needed.
Had a new injector put in by Hertrich ford (in Easton) when one died.
I've only put maybe 10K miles in the 4 years that I've had it.
I've only run maybe 100 miles total in the "high perf" mode on the chip, most has been stock mode.
I've only ever pulled my tractor on a trailer with it, and that only 4-5 times.

The Bad:
It is mid restoration so the tow hitch is off and some of the wiring at the rear of the bed is not connected or duplicate from the replacement bed (though it is all there and lights work currently).
PS pump causing belt squeal (I think that's where it is).
Parking brake needs adjustment. It holds but pedal goes to floor.
Stock rear tank has mild leak, so not being used (disconnected from filler neck).

The Ugly:
It is a two-tone job now because of the new bed.
There is the typical rust in the front fenders, bumpers, and cab corners. I can point you to (or help you get if you want) new replacement parts for the fenders/bumpers on the cheap as well as cab corner panels.

I am starting a business and need a newer/'more presentable' truck with auto trans so am sadly *wipes tears from eye* gauging interest in my truck. I get 1-2 guys a months stop by on the side of the road to talk about it, so lets see what kind of interest there is.

Need to get right around $12K out of it in order to make it worth it.

===================================

I have some threads on it here mid-resto.
