Question Cheap Body Lift

hey everyone,
I just bought a 87' bronco, it needs some body work but it runs great. It's already got a 4" superlift, but i would like to do a 3" body lift. I've heard that the cheapest way to do this is with hockey pucks in the body mounts. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this and could give me some suggestions/ideas.
Thanks a ton,
Jordan

All iam saying is NO, NO, NO....

dont even think about stacking hockey pucks! just bite the bullet and get the real thing. if you have to have inspection in your state they will make you take them out also.

Cheap Body Lift

A REAL body lift is only about 75 bucks. It doesn't get much cheaper than that.

Who's going to be riding in the bronco? If you don't care, do it the cheap way...........We would all get a good laugh hearing your story of how the body kept going forward when you had to hit the brakes hard. (not really, but you get my point)

I spent the 75 bronc's and the kit came with everything needed 'cept labor

But officer "where did all these pucks come from"

Are you sure you want 3 inches of lift? I have a similar set up in my Bronco - 3 inch suspension lift 3-4 inch body lift (I didn't put them in so I can't tell for sure). You can see clear through the truck between the body and the frame, if you like that look go ahead but I'm going to rip out all the lifts and put in a 6 inch suspension lift. In my opinion, it's the only way to go.

Thanks for all the input guys. I've decided not to do the body lift and just get some bigger tires. Once i can afford it i'll probably add a new suspension lift. Thanks again for saving me from a head-ache,
Jordan
