Houston to Phoenix road trip

Greetings all!

I'm going to be heading to Phoenix from Houston this upcoming Monday, running I-10W the entire way. Planning on leaving here around 9 or 10AM and running a 12-hr first leg to Las Cruces, NM before stopping for the night.

Just curious as to who is along that route, and if y'all would be interested in a quick meet'n'greet as I zip through.

I'm also looking to see if anyone would be willing to lend a hand just in case something should go wrong. If you're ok with that, please PM me a way to get in contact with you.

The rig is getting a full once-over this weekend. My last road trip to Georgia, I just kinda took off and ended up stuck in Idaho for two days after a unit bearing locked up and left me stranded in one of the smallest towns I have even been through. Ironically that was also the only trip where I didn't plan ahead, post up to see who was on the route, etc... Go figure.

I'm between you and I10. I'll be at work during that time though.

You'll be within 3 miles of my house on the beltway.

I've done that route plenty of times. Doing it without stopping is a whole other game.

Made it here without too much of a fuss. EBP sensor tube kept blowing off the bung on the manifold. Had a shop along the way just weld the bung shut and it's been working fine, just a bit more smokey than usual. I picked up a spare from a local dealer but will install it when I get home in a week and a half or so.

There aren't nearly the same level of diesels regarding upgrades for go-fast here. Maybe a tuner, mostly all show queens. As such, I have been having a BLAST at traffic lights and freeway sprints. Poor 350z didn't know what hit him on the green light earlier, and neither did the Civic hatch and RSX that were racing on the freeway. I can only imagine what they were thinking when I blew by both of them over 100 as they were buzzing down the freeway...

That's bad advice, the wheels are WAY shinier than the paint
