AM I able to convert old hubs to new?

I was wondering if anybody knows If I can convert these hubs to modern hubs to accept normal truck wheels? The axle tag shows the axles are rated at 5000lbs. I have acquired these axles for nothing and just want know if I could change the hubs. I will use them for now as is cause the tires are in really good shape.

Yes you can but it will not be cheap. It might be more cost effective to buy axle assemblies.

Should't be a problem, but like DPorter said, gonna be expensive. first you will need 4 new drums and 4 rim. 5 k axle can be 6 or 8 lug I have both in my fleet. If you pull one of your drums, get the bearing numbers and measure the shoes should be 12x2, then you can match the bearings to the race number in the drum part listings. If you want to see look up part # 8-201-9 I think that's the 6 lug part number ( ive put a few on ).

Thanks for the info, I will check them out. Hopefully not too expensive, but I like said I can always run them like they are now sine they are fine but I was curious if anybody had done it and what I was going to run into. As for the rims I have so not a issue.

If it works, don't fix it.
