This is my drive shaft. Should there be a boot enclosing this?

That is what I was thinking. Maybe a generic CV joint boot would work.

Or one of those steering damper boots. Those splines should be greased/lubed.

I did grease them and now I need something to cover them up. Good idea on the steering damper boot. I need to do some searching.
