Noise Please...

I've got a 93 F-150 302 V8. I want to make some noise but I know next to nothing about this stuff. One guy is telling me I need a short glasspack with a turndown and another guy is telling me it can't be done because it's got the two catalytic converters and such. What do you guys think? Any advice?

Noise Please...

o.k. Here we go again. What type of NOISE do you want? Raspy? Deep Throaty? If you want raspy go with Glass Packs and Duals (optional) with either 2.25" pipe or 2.5" pipe.

Now if you look on your truck, you'll see that before the cats there is a little sensor. This is an o2 sensor, it has to stay so don't cut that off. Now after that you do what you like. People on here will tell you to run a high flow cat, and they are expensive, so for me living in Canada I run no cats.

Now if you want a throaty deep sound, you'll want to put on some Dynomax super turbo or blowmasters, with the same piping and you can either run regular cats or get the high flow cats.

I know this is alot to handle right now, but it's really simple - you want to get the exhaust out as quick as possible - without over doing it.

Whatever you do don't run 3" duals. Too big.

Hope this helps.
