The quick run down is I am doing the duraspark ii conversion on my 1984 f150 with the 4.9L engine. I bought the painless wiring harness and I have a few question. I am using the ballast resistor that came with the kit. On one side of the resistor you have two wires that are on the same connection. One of the wires is from the kit and it says you have to run the second wire own your own. Can anybody tell me what I need to hook that to. Also it has a wire that I need to run from the relay near the battery to a 12 volt ignition source. I have posted the picture on the harness layout. Lastly the connector near the duraspark ignition module has a short black wire, I take it that is for a ground. If not what is that for. The wires I am asking about are the #919 and #920 in the diagram. Thanks for the help.
