I know this is a hard question to answer but I prefer a bunch of educated guesses over my own. Lol
I ordered a Platinum 250 w/ an 8' bed and added the LED Clearance Lights. I have just a hair under 83" of clearance to get inside my garage.
What I am wondering is if the clearance lights add any additional height, or if they are masked by the downward slope on the front of the roof. And if that's not the case do y'all think they will exceed the gap between the standard 81.3" in this guide and the 83" of my garage opening.
My current Super Duty doesn't have clearance lights that's why I'm so dense on the subject. :-)

The 49 gal fuel tank is on the CC. The SC has only 35 gal which I find annoying there isn't an option to go larger.

35 sure is not bad. Right now on my 16 CC shortbed, I get a whopping 26 gallons of diesel. 35 would be great. But hey, that's why the '17 I ordered is a CC longbed.

Traveling long distances would make the 26 gallon almost impossible to live with, especially towing a load. Some of the gaps between service are over 150 miles in the west and even further in Canada. The camper brings mileage down to 15 or less and a small tank mandates fueling at every "last chance" location, they have a captive customer and are not afraid to price accordingly. I took a 2012 shortbed cross country last fall and the aftermarket 50 gal tank was a luxury which the owner of the truck called a necessity for long distance travel. My '01 has a 39 gal tank which is better but the real culprit in these smaller tanks is the cow pee reservoir needed to satisfy the long reach of the government.

Yeah, 26 is really too small. The Titan tank would have probably happened if I kept the '16. I've heard the argument about the DEF reservoir, but if you crawl under the truck...there is a large cavity available towards the front of the fuel tank which could have easily added another 10 gallons. Maybe Ford did not want to position the tank too close to the cab.
Thinking about the forest fires in Alberta recently, with a number of drivers running out on the highway, makes me want a truck with a large fuel capacity.

It will be interesting to see what the actual tank capacities are since Fords specs are a gallon lower than the NADA sheets. Either new information or faulty transcription. At least the two tank with electric switching is a thing of the past. I will consider a tank replacement to move to 50 gallons or more but that cost is about the same as LED headlights. It is a shame to spend this much money for a truck and then have to chase high cost accessories. Maybe the CC ultimate would have been less expensive than the SC to get everything in the lonnnnng run.

It worked for me - I really wanted the LED headlamps...thus forcing me to a Lariat Ultimate and BLIS. If I could have simply spent the grand on a stand-alone option; I'd probably be driving the highest-end version of an XLT.
