Now for confession of a dumb ***. Truck started run full out?? What the hell did I do....well as ya can plainly see in my eagerness to drive after working on since last August I installed the carburetor linkage inverted which means footpedal brother!! Yes sir step on the gas pedal the truck slows you let off the gas pedal she shoots like a rocket....DUMB ***!

So RMP...... Did you get it running after your little hiccup?

Don't feel bad I replaced a thermostat & got distracted
& put the old one back in (twice).

Got the truck out for fathers day car show!!! Steering sort of all over the place above 25 mph.. And I've heard some talk about prebending new springs...Um ok note to self (Was unaware of that part me and the boy just put our new springs on from Mac right out of the box) so need to start asking the dumb questions. What if we didn't do that? Where can it be done? Can it wait to winter to come back apart?

Thanks and Yes Vaughns, is really excited to be driving our ORD minor item F is missing on front. Two open items steering is really slack so keeping it at 20-25 mph and I need to find out if I needed to prebend the leaf springs. (Unsure)

I've not heard of pre-bending leaf springs. I put mine directly on the truck with no issues.
