Thanks a lot everybody. I am very excited!

I pretty much need everything. I have been using all my dads tools up to now, so I will have almost nothing for myself. The only things that are mine are my shrinker stretcher set, my sheet metal break, and a few welding clamps.

Wow, everywhere I've worked, if they saw an engineer pick up a screwdriver they'd throw a hissy-fit. Sounds very hands-on!

Congratulations on your job! I am wrapping up my freshman year in manufacturing tech and the guys that are mechanically inclined have a leg up for sure. You're proof for younger guys like myself. Best of luck and use the time away from the truck to plan and focus on what you want to do. Being away from my tools, trucks, and garage during college is for sure rough

I meant tools to work on my truck, not for the job. I wish the job was that hands on haha.

Congrats!!! That's great news.

No worries, the truck will wait for you. In the interim you can stock up on tools, materials, and parts.

In all reality, 2.5 years is nothing. It will fly by. Like you said, in the mean time you can find a cool driver that just needs some slight tinkering here and there.

Congratulations Nick. It's no secret how I think of FTE as a family and that I get saddened when someone is hurting, and joyful when someone is blessed, as you are being now. It's getting harder and harder to obtain a fruitfull carrier these days, but it seems as if you are on your way to just that. I'm very happy for you.

Id sell the truck to rid yourself of the burden until you're at a stable time in your life. Then buy another. Because you really don't know how long the truck will sit and that's the worst thing for them.

Hey Nick,
Congratulations!! It's an exciting time... Are you taking a Mrs. Nick along with you
or should we warn the local population? Just kidding - You'll have a blast. You know
Ann Arbor is only 25 miles from Wayne & there are something like 100,000 coeds there... just saying...

My sources tell me that the Ford Focus & Cmax car assembly is moving from
Wayne (to Mexico). Rumors have it that the new Ford Ranger Pickup will head toward
that plant...Hmmmm.. That sounds like fun for you!

No need to warn the locals, I have a Mrs., or should I say soon to be Mrs. coming with me. We are actually getting married in September!

Hey Nick,
That is great news! Congratulations! I'd let you guys borrow my truck for the
wedding but I'm too far away. Maybe someone is closer....
That's really nice that she's being flexible on her career plans.
