'07 F250 5.4L Muffle
The previous owner of my '07 F250 5.4L replaced the stock exhaust system behind the catalytic converter with dual exhausts. It's noisy, ugly and I don't like it. The OEM stock components will set me back about $800. There are aftermarket suppliers that cost much less but is the quality as good? Were the original pipes stainless or aluminized steel? Who produces the best quality components? I don't like noisy exhausts so quieter the better.

I believe the OEM system was a very mild stainless system. If you want to go back to a stock looking/sounding setup and not pay Ford prices, find a muffler like a walker quiet flow or a dynomax super turbo.
Have an exhaust shop weld the muffler in and bend an exhaust pipe to fit. Shouldn't cost more than a few hundred to have it done.
