Morning Rich!

I've was up and running relatively early for a Sunday. A new idle control valve solved the seemingly sticky throttle and having AC is awesome. Of course the extra load on the belt has the idler pulley on the tensioner squeaking, but I guess that's to be expected.

Alan, awesome news on the lights from BF! I also like to try not to remember stuff quite so much on this holiday weekend. I'll keep myself busy!

RC, I got some work for you if you have your tow vehicle done lol!

Morning all! I hope you all remember the fallen in your own way this weekend and beyond. Never forget those who gave their lives for those who have no clue..

Good Morning Everyone!

I was up and at the shop early this morning. I got two coats of primer down on Ray's visor. A block session should have it ready for color.

I also spent about an hour and a half fixing the awning on the RV. I thought I was an idiot because I couldn't get it to come out. It turns out it was just that jacked up. There were pieces missing, broke stuff, bent stuff, etc. I got it working pretty smooth now, though. I also gave Tiff's car an oil change. I guess we're going to check out some flea markets with the rest of the day.

Trailer awnings usually get jacked up because people leave them open in the wind or don't tilt a corner down to drain in the rain. They can be a real handful to straighten out at times.

Well, I went to change the tensioner pulley and the whole tensioner came apart in the process. I about wet my pants when I saw what a new one's going to cost me, but there's not much point in trying to penny-pinch tensioners. Unfortunately the new one won't be here until Tuesday, so the Frankentruck is grounded for now. Better for it to come apart now rather than when I'm on the road somewhere...

evening all... sorry to hear about your tensioner dave..but good news on everything else....
i managed to get the broke off (5/8 grade 8) bolt out of the output shaft on the brush hog (was happy to get that done) now i just need about 90.00 for some new blades before we can use it around the shop
i played with the 8n a little today till it ran out of fuel.... so then i decided to move the blazer hull out from in front of the shop.. i am not sure what the boom on my truck is rated at.. but that blazer if full of scrap iron and it didnt even groan....

i have to admit i am liking my new truck..

sure makes moving stuff around much easier

RC, I got some towing jobs for you then!!

Crappy pic and the vinyl wrap isn't finished or tucked and cut , but I set the dashpad on the dash, looks pretty good. Finished clear coating the dash and glove box door today on Bullet. Trying to get the inside of the cab white so I can carpet it and put the seat back in.

Looks like everyone had a productive day.

Tomorrow I want to lay color on Ray's visor, then it's time to roll EQ in and get cutting on the front axle. I'm running out of minutes.

RC the flat bump is working like a champ.
Jeff dash looks nice.
Bad awnings and even worse tensioners...hang in there.

Bad last few days for me, stripped a alum intake carb mount stud hole. Helicoil back in business.

I am having red bronco carb issues, just got it rebuilt and off road tricked, I think my regulator needs to go back on? Or Alan needs to put his special touch on it?

Ol red will not start...all I get is a starter solenoid buzz. Brand new starter solenoid, voltage regulator, battery is good and even on the jump box. All connections clean, tight. It was starting with a little gas in the carb and the battery jump box a while back. Hearing it run motivates me to get back on it.

Temp gauge on the tube buggy is now not working??

So who can come lend a hand? The hand will be paid for the help. I am at my whit's end. Anyone that could lend a hand in the afternoon would be appreciated and paid for the drive.

Pressure washer motor is ???? and wont run, right either...

Rich, Im a freshman at all this, but I can stand around with a beer and say encouraging things. I'm also qualified to hold things, match profanity, and get beers. I wake up at 7 on federal holidays so iff you need anything just give me a call.

RC may God bless your father and uncle, and all the veterans we have lost.

RC we can just watch the weather and go from there, how does that sound?

Thanks for the offer Andrew, I know you have your own project and you are on a tight time line to boot.

Morning to all.
