Ford are well represented at the Bolivar show every month. One of the neatest cars there was a 1930 Franklin. It was a 6 cyl. model and very nice. I am sure you know but they were one of the only big manufacturers back then to make a air cooled car. They even produced a V 12 series. I have only seen a couple of the V 12's

My buddy Ed just got a call about a guy that just bought a 1924 Maxwell touring car and a Maxwell truck (year unknown)...the car will be in a local shop here getting some work done. I am going to go ck out that for sure.

It's not raining here yet, but it's pretty dark and gloomy out there.
Of course the Chevy quarter panel was more work than I thought. I had to make just about the whole bottom section behind the wheel. As soon as that's done and the trim holes are filled, I can get the doors squared away.

yea we had a little bit of rain here.... i worked at the shop till it started pouring and gusting wind, got soaked to the bone trying to close the doors.. made it home just in time..15 minutes after i got home the creek was too high to cross..
larry i never did get to fool with any franklins..unless you count a franklin powered old bi-plane i helped rebuild back years ago
