RC
Ford are well represented at the Bolivar show every month. One of the neatest cars there was a 1930 Franklin. It was a 6 cyl. model and very nice. I am sure you know but they were one of the only big manufacturers back then to make a air cooled car. They even produced a V 12 series. I have only seen a couple of the V 12's

My buddy Ed just got a call about a guy that just bought a 1924 Maxwell touring car and a Maxwell truck (year unknown)...the car will be in a local shop here getting some work done. I am going to go ck out that for sure.

Raining hard enough to make a duck seek high ground. RC watch the creek...

It's not raining here yet, but it's pretty dark and gloomy out there.

Of course the Chevy quarter panel was more work than I thought. I had to make just about the whole bottom section behind the wheel. As soon as that's done and the trim holes are filled, I can get the doors squared away.

It rained here so hard, I seen a duck in a boat paddling like crazy and even heard a fish yell "help I'm drowning".

RC I alternate between ol blue and ol silver to keep it fun going to work.

yea we had a little bit of rain here.... i worked at the shop till it started pouring and gusting wind, got soaked to the bone trying to close the doors.. made it home just in time..15 minutes after i got home the creek was too high to cross..

larry i never did get to fool with any franklins..unless you count a franklin powered old bi-plane i helped rebuild back years ago

Evening All!

I got everything done on the Chevy except one door. I need to sit and think how I want to do it because I don't have any door hinges. I may just build a jig so the door ends up the same size when I'm done. The whole bottom needs to be cut off and a new section welded in.

Good Morning Everybody!

One more door to fix and the metal work on the Chevy is done. I have a Mountaineer getting dropped off for some panel replacements (maybe) then it's on to other things. ...Like painting a certain truck bed.
