Good Morning Everybody!

Time to try and make up the money we spent over the weekend. We had fun, but we can't do that too often.

 

good morning missouri.. played with the tractor some yesterday.. tried to get it hooked onto the brush hog.. but the carb flooded and it would not crank back up..i guess i will have to pull the carb off and get the funky old gas cleaned out or see why the needle valve got stuck..

I'm having a Monday. Things are getting done, but it seems like every little thing is a struggle. The spare tire mount is fabbed and installed on my trailer. (flatbed) and I got the body work done on the Toyota and a couple coats of primer down. I hope to have it shot, or at least ready to shoot first thing in the morning. Then I can get the rust repair done on the '70 Chevy cab, THEN I think I can get back on RC's bed.

 

I'm still looking for that Kick down Linkage for Ka'Bluey. I had one lined up from a guy not far from here, even had a price that I liked. Now nothing from him at all.

HOLY COW! Where did April go? I haven't done anything to my truck lately. If I'm not working then I'm trying to get things done around the house that momma can't do. Unfortunately that list keeps growing, I'm afraid that she is going to end up being disabled. We're getting ready to bid runs at work and I'm going to go back on a bid run. This is tiring not having a set schedule, switching from days to nights and back is killing me. Hopefully with a set schedule I'll be able to find the time to work on my truck again.

good morning missouri... all i did yesterday was do a little bodywork then squirt some paint on the tire machine so i can get it set in place.. pulled the carb off the 8n ..it was full of crap and i think i need the float replaced....think i can hear a bit of when shook..

I should be able to lay some paint down on the Toyota this morning, then get on some rust repair. I need to shoot RC's bed, but I just can't swing it right now.

Oh, and I made a HUGE mistake with the pyramid crush. It's not happening on July 17th. It's JUNE 17th!! ...Holy crap I need to hustle.

 

I'll never understand people like that.

In for some lunch. The Toyota is shot and drying. I'm gonna get a head start on Earthquake. I have the back up alarm and strobe to put on, then I'll see about the brake guards and drive shaft loops. ....commence full panic mode.

 

The Toyota is peeled and outside. I'll cut and buff it on Friday. I rebuilt a carburetor and tried to get an '80 Corvette to run right, but this piece of junk is determined to be a thorn in my side. I am SO DONE with wrenching on vehicles. It's gonna take me longer and cost more money to rebuild a dang carburetor than to fix a wreck including paint.

Speaking of which, A wrangler is getting dropped off tomorrow for a right rear quarter. I'm running out of minutes to get my truck in the door.

 

i didnt get much done today..my son-in-law broke his foot so i am helping to keep the yard cut down.. i would let it look like a vacant lot like i usually did.. but they have put some much work into making it look like normal folk live here, i guess i should spend a few hours keeping it up for her.... i also played with the 'magic bus" a little today.. it started right up like it should....... i sure would like to slap the trim back on it then get it legal a go for a couple month trip

Well I've been busy for past few days and haven't had a chance to get on here and see all the fun every 1s having without me.....went and looked at a new house in Annapolis yesterday that I'm thinking about getting 3 bedroom 2 bath for 275 from a friend of my wife's instead of this 3 bed 1 bath and no yard for 400 and a very very nosy landlord
